Granddad's Tote Bag Rides, 2017, 40" x 60"

I made the above quilt to commemorate my Dad's 85th birthday in August 2017.  It's a portrait showing him playing with two of his eight grandchildren -- two-year old Stevie, in the tote bag, and four-year old Jimmy, enthusiastically waiting for his turn.  I made this from a photo I took circa 1991.
